Ryan E. Farnsworth

Ryan E. Farnsworth Bio

Ryan grew up in Mesa, Arizona where he graduated from Arizona State University with a Bachelor's Degree in English Literature in 2007. He then worked as a Property and Development Projects Manager for an insurance company in Arizona, after which Ryan attended law school and received his Juris Doctor degree from the University of Utah S.J. Quinney College of Law in 2011. Ryan then moved his family to Idaho and gained admission to the Idaho State Bar in February 2012.

While attending the University of Utah College of Law, Ryan participated in a program with the Salt Lake Legal Defenders Association representing criminal defendants that could not afford an attorney. He worked one semester as an intern for the Honorable Judge R. Kimball Mosier at the U.S. Bankruptcy Court during his third year.

During law school Ryan was also selected for and participated in a regional mediation competition held at the University of Idaho. Following law school, he worked for an Idaho Falls law firm performing legal research. Ryan has filed several hundred bankruptcies and chose that practice to help people solve their financial problems.

Ryan is admitted to practice in all Idaho State Courts, and the United States District Court for the District of Idaho, including Bankruptcy Court. Memberships include the Idaho Trial Lawyers Association, the Commercial and Bankruptcy Law Section of the Idaho State Bar and the National Association of Consumer Bankruptcy Attorneys. Ryan is also certified as a Consumer Bankruptcy Specialist by the American Board of Certification.

Ryan's practice at Avery Law focuses on bankruptcy, personal injury and worker's compensation law in Idaho.
