John Avery Admitted to U.S. Supreme Court Bar
Posted on Mar 3, 2016 2:11pm PST
Attorney John Avery of Avery Law has been admitted to practice in the highest
court in the nation: the United States Supreme Court. This monumental
achievement pays testament to Mr. Avery’s excellence and respected
reputation within the legal community. Admission to the United States
Supreme Court Bar is reserved for only the most accomplished legal professionals
within their field. The Supreme Court only hears about 80 cases per year
and issues decisions for the most contentious legal issues in the nation.
Attorney Avery was sworn in during a recent trip to Washington, D.C. to
lobby on behalf of The Commercial Law League of America. While sitting
in on Supreme Court Proceedings after being admitted, John witnessed Justice
Clarence Thomas
speak in court for the first time in a decade. Justice Thomas has not questioned arguing attorneys since February 2006.
According to the New York Times, Thomas has remained quiet for so long
because he did not want to be rude to lawyers with interruptions.
